Dissertation to Journal Publication Training

The training focused on the quality, authorship, journal selection, trimming, editing draft and submission of target journal.

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Enterprise in collaboration with the Graduate School offered the Second Training Opportunity to post-graduate students on strategies to convert their PhD Dissertation to Journal publications. The training targeted both the PhD and Masters students.  It gave students crucial tips for ensuring avoidance of delays in graduating due to the regulations on publication of at least two journal articles for PhD students before graduation. Master students were also encouraged to learn how to publish as a best practice, since publication of journal articles by Masters Students is not a requirement for graduation.

The training focused on the quality, authorship, journal selection, trimming, editing draft and submission of target journal.

Students and staff are encouraged to register and participate in the next seminar when mounted.
