Web Champions Training

The  meeting discussed 2019-2020 website strategy policies, which highlighted the four pillars of website success such as Management, Stakeholders, Website owner and ICT. The objective of the meeting were to: emphasize the importance of website for the wider university agenda, Understand the roles of different players in website success, Highlight UoN website Policy framework and Strategies for ensuring good performance.

CURRICULUM REVIEW WORKSHOP AT CAVS

The College of Agriculture and and Veterinary Sciences (CAVS) held a one day curriculum review workshop  for all academic units. The workshop was attended by all heads of academic units, deans and directors, curriculum review experts, quality assurance and the college principal.

The workshop was officially opened by the DVC Academic Affairs, Prof. Julius Ogeng'o who emphasized on the importance of reviewing academic programmes. The deliverables for the workshop included:

The deliverables for the workshop included: Undertaking minimal changes of the academic programmes, Alignment of existing academic programmes to the new standards and regulations as stipulated by the Commission for University Education (CUE), Archiving of academic programmes that are not attracting applicants or have inadequate training personnel such as lecturers.
